Halla mixed with numerous individuals and groups - the bears, the dragons (especially Uggi), then the group from Marob during her time in Micklegard, and intermittently the Valkyrie Steinvor. Did you feel that you got to know her as a person through all these changes?

She grew as a person through all of this. Did I get to know her? I mean, it’s a short book. What kind of knowing are we looking for?
I thought this was a pretty neat part of the book considering how short it was. Halla's last name changed as she had to adapt to who she spent time with and how she defined herself and the part early on where she really didn't know she was not a real dragon was rather delightful.
In the end she was a bit of a patchwork of those people she spent time with.
